The Nonviolent Option

The big event of the past week was the attempt on the part of the Obama regime and its lackeys (I almost wrote "running dogs") in the mainstream media to propagandize against the Teaparty movement by characterizing them as a gang of violent racist armed Christian thugs, hoping to scare away the "moderates," if there are any "moderates" left. The Obama propaganda machine wants to paint ordinary Americans as some kind of hybrid of the Ku Klux Klan and the Cossacks. (More about the Cossacks later.) In my opinion, the propaganda effort will fail to bring about electoral victory for Democrat incumbents in November, but it could have the effect of getting votes from a Susan Collins, an Olympia Snowe, or a Lindsey Graham for whatever heinous new unconstitutional legislation the regime wants to ram through Congress before the election.
However, there is another side to the unfounded allegations of violence made by the regime. In my opinion, though no true Americans (that is, Americans who are not part of the Obama regime or thoroughly brainwashed by regime propaganda) are behaving violently, I'll bet that the idea of armed revolt has been on the mind of more than a few. There are good reasons, starting with the eloquent prose written by Thomas Jefferson in the Declaration of Independence, for example,
"whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government…"Then there is the Second Amendment to the Constitution:
"A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed."What kind of militia, you might ask? Well, the Founders were not talking about duck hunting.
There is, however, a true alternative to violence, an alternative more powerful and more emphatic than, as the current Republican slogan, puts it "Fire Pelosi." Firing is what an employer does to an employee who does not do his job. Bank robbers, rapists (rapists of nations) and traitors are not merely fired. Something more serious is done about them.
Specifically, I am talking about Barack Hussein Obama, the nonstop liar, demagogue, thief and betrayer of his constitutional oath, and the remedy I am suggesting now is one I have already suggested: impeachment. Impeachment, you see, is the nonviolent alternative.
Do I think that the thugs who have hijacked the Capitol building and their host of pusillanimous lickspittles (Bart Stupak, are you reading this?) will vote for impeachment of their Dear Leader? Of course not. If and when the Republican Party regains a majority in Congress, the opportunity for impeachment of Obama will then arise.
Because of the sorry defeat of the Clinton impeachment by Susan Collins and the "Democrats" I fear that the Republican Party will shy away from initiating an impeachment of Obama. If they do, it will be one of the worst mistakes they ever made.
Republicans, conservatives, libertarians, Objectivists, and non-aligned anti-Communists must never allow themselves to forget: Impeachment is the true non-violent alternative. It follows the rule of law, our constitution. It rarely happens but it is not radical or a fringe effort. Bullets, bombs, Molotov cocktails, and violent mobs are destructive. Impeachment is nondestructive. It is merely good housekeeping. We must do it.
I will leave with only one example of the effects of violence, for though I might not sound like Mohandas Gandhi with my choice of words, I stand with him against violence. My example is part of Russian history:
In the land beyond the border, the Ukraine, an armed band of Christian militants, the Zaporozhian Cossacks, made war on Muslims who were part of the Ottoman and Christian empires. These wars occurred a century before American independence. The Cossacks were encouraged by the Russian Tsars. As a result, a land called Chechnya became absorbed into the Russian Empire, and was inherited by the Soviet Union, and then the Russian Federation. In more recent times, the Russian Army itself suppressed Muslim rebels in Chechnya, but never defeated them entirely. Last week, there were bloody bombings in the Moscow subway. Who carried it out? The Chechen rebels.
In the real United States of America (the one that existed before Obama, Pelosi, and Reid) Chechens, Russians, Jews, Arabs, and other nationalities all got along peacefully under the rule of law, which the Obama regime is trying to destroy. The end result, either of letting the Obama regime get away with its agenda, or giving him a pass and allowing him to become an "elder statesman ex-president" like Jimmy Carter, is going to be lawlessness and mass bloodshed.
I shall summarize my point using the kind of doggerel favored by the late Johnny Cochrane:
"If they overreach, you must impeach."
